HOT SURFACE
IGNITERS
FC SHOCKMOUNT Series
The Surfaceigniter FC family of hot surface igniters has long been a standard for reliable ignition in the heating industry. Since its inception many years ago, the FC "shockmount" continues to be the preferred choice of engineers and designers for the safe and consistent ignition of gas in all types of heating applications.
Made of shock resistant stainless steel brackets, the FC family of igniters provides strength and reliability where shock and vibration are a concern, whether it is in manufacturing assembly, installation, or application. The FC family also comes in several different bracket styles and is capable of mounting to many burner assemblies, making it the logical choice for many applications.
Made of high quality reaction bonded silicon carbide and the industry's only helical design, the FC "shockmount" combines...
-
Longer usable life (reduced aging)
-
Greater physical strength
-
Lower power consumption
-
Superior gas lighting ability
Increased life results from our unique reaction bonding process, which produces a higher density silicon carbide. This higher density reduces internal oxidation - a cause of igniter aging and failure. Our manufacturing process and efficient double helix design enable the Surfaceigniter to draw less current, thereby operating at lower temperatures and lasting longer than competitive 120-volt igniters.
As with all of our products, many off-the-shelf FC "shockmount" igniters are available for your application. |

To further meet your needs, wire lead types, lengths, and terminations can be also specified to fit your application.
Whatever the case, Surfaceigniter has the right igniter for your application. Ask your Surfaceigniter salesman today to see one of our many FC "shockmount" igniters.
